Engines are great. The tranny may give you some grinds, but with some Honda MTF that can be taken care of. I say go for it.

I'd also say go for it. The RSX in general is a very solid car, but i would def. go for the type-s if you can get your hands on one. The best investment i've ever made when it comes to cars, and i've owned 4 different cars and 3 of them honda

I have no problems with mine since i bought it. It is a very reliable car but if you are looking for great gas mileage, dont expect it! The car wants to go fast all the time. I promise you will NOT be dissapointed at all!

Just seems to be a tranny defect. But i haven't had really any problems with my tranny since i've had the car and my 02 S has 55k on it. I get a light 2nd gear grind every once in awhile but nothing more.....
