Default IN A DILEMMA HELP ASAP!

What's up guys. Names kevin, i drive a 1996 civic dx. I got it as a gift from my mom with only 37K miles on it. Since im just in highschool and itll be a temporary car till i graduate in 09, i debating on what i should do to the car, cause auto gets kind of boring driving a "Sports" car haha. i already got plans for the car but it might change since i want to drive stick and im kind of on a budget so i would like to get some help from you guys.

oh boy another yound one wants to "hook" his car up. this is what i say. you said your on a budget. how about you at least wait to you finish high school before doing anything to your car. honestly instead of waisting your money on the car save for college. theres your answer to your dilemma. not trying to sound like an *** but ive been there and its really pointless to fix up your car. 5 spd swap doesnt sound too bad though but that would be the only thing id do.

Yeah seriously. If the car is only a temporary setup then don't go and butcher it, especially since it has low miles (which is hard to find anywhere).

If you go on the route to keep it then I would swap it over to manual before doing anything performance worthy to the car.

coming from someone your age...i think... save your money since you say its a temporary car and with the money saved you could do mods to your next car.
