thats not fair to assume that...i had my s2k for a month before i dropped 3k into it and i work part time WITH a $320 car note...some people see it car&gt;themselves...call me crazy but sometimes i do

wow...how can you put a car over real needs? i'm sorry man but i think that is ridiculous....pissing away money on a car then living strapped and probably with your parents just to get by

your decision is your decision but it is probably one you will regret down the line (i know i would)

yea kinda but...can you honestly tell me a kid that's 20 years old who can't even grow facial hair can afford the following ON HIS OWN:

1. s2k
2. insurance for the s2k
3. mods
4. a turbo setup

seriously, some of these kids have their priorities all screwed up, and for the ones who's mommy and daddy spoon feed them i blame the parents....

if the kid can afford it he's slangin dope or pissing away his life savings...neither of which are commendable

 

Or I could leave with my 85yr old grandma and work 55 hours a week and pay for my car, insurance, mod's, and still live comfortable. It's just because I live with my grandmother...Didn't know posting pic's of my car would get my personal life bashed.

not trying to bash your personal life...just tryin to make you see that while it's all fun right now, you may regret it....i do when i think back to all the money i pissed away when i was younger to have a nice car...if i were you i'd be in college getting an education instead of pissing away the money on a car

by the way....i worked to pay for college tuition, rent, and the car(s)/mods all on my own....nothing was handed to me

the car **** will always be there.....at his age there are things he should be doing to get him farther in life than pissing away all his moola on a car

i have to give credit to him cause i bought a 2000 SI when i was 20 back in 2000. That **** cost me with finance charges like 20k. 480 payment a month, insurance 180...still at home though lol. But still rag on him cause its funny as hell hahaa.

live on my own

have a turbo s2000

pay insurance

have a beater car

and im not strapped for cash....

so it is not impossible to have these things + i do all my own work on my **** so all i pay for is parts.

nice car btw. peice your kit together and it will be ALOT less

no im not in school. i work at a hospital 18 dollors an hour (with no schooling) and i plan on opening a shop in the next few years.

all the money i have spent on the car is still able to be sold for more and come out ahead.
