Trying to figure out my options. Don't know if I can afford to take off 4-5 days yet.

 

I'm in the same boat, hoping both vacation time and money will hold out until September. So far it looks like I will be going.

I'm pretty sure I'll be there. Hopefully we can get 18 to make STX an official, unofficial class.

 

I plan on attending. I just have to figure out how to get my car out there. It doesn't exactly qualify as carry-on....

It doesn't exactly qualify as checked baggage either. Have you tried the pier?

 

I was thinking of how much it would be to train your car there. They have those instead of logging miles on the car and dealing with a sore butt

 

That or renting a trailer for the week. Does anyone rent a truck and trailer big enough to fit two cars on? Split the costs and it may be do-able.

Anything is better than driving hundreds (thousands for some of you) of miles on bonejarring suspension.

If anything, I'll put cushy suspension on for the drive out, then switch when I get there in the hotel parking lot

 

I will be there for the Pro Finale and Nationals.

 

Rent an expedition or similar.

Rent a trailer from u-haul.

Buy lots of beer.
