No personal experience with those cars.

However, most torsion bars are adjustable, if you loosen and rotate the end mounting points. This won't stiffen the ride, just adjust height.

If you want stiffer, you'll need thicker torsion bars, either from a different car or aftermarket.

Bingo.

thanks alot. i went to a tuning shop downtown called revline and even they said that they can only get lowering springs for the rear : (

yeah i read somewhere that my entire chassis is based off the 84-87 civic and i was a little upset to hear that cause lets face it that civic sucked.

Not really.

That was the period when Civics were actually starting to get good. Despite the quirky suspension, handling was phenominal due to the light weight and dimensions. The biggest problem they faced was rust.

haha true. i have too much of that. mainly around my rear wheel wells, where the torsion bar meets the unibody and the corner sides of my rear floor pans. yeah my car is f*cked. i hate KS/ MO weather. never move here if you value your car's body.

You have to get large front torsion bars for the civic and get the torque tubes from the civic, get a set of GC coilovers for the rear, A decent set of shocks, and then get the camber kit/shock mount.

or just order the tein kit for the car.

wait a minute.. are you saying tein makes a kit for the 1st gen integra and nobody told me sooner?

or were you saying the kit for the GC...

what i don't get is.. how would a civic of all cars have bigger torsion rods than an Integra? it came with all wheel discs, dual cam PGM-FI D16, but has smaller torsion bars than a Civic of the same year?? thats f*cked up man. with all the goods the integra came with why did tHonda slack on the suspension??

mugen sold 26mm(?) torsion bars for the civic/crx. i would imagine they sold something for your integra. also the 4wd civic from 84-87 had thicker bars than the other models, but they might be shorter than yours and won't work.

the civic didn't have thicker bars than your integra. civic/crx had 19mm yours has 21mm.

yes tein makes suspension for you car.
