Trailing Arm Bushing Noise
So after countless investigations (lol) found out that the noise that the rear of my Eg was making during the ride was due to the trail arm bushings. It gets worse with the cold, but it almost disapears with warm temperatures. And now I'm wondering, what can I do to stop this noise, aside from replacing the bushings or turning up the stereo?
Well is the sound a sqeaking or a knocking and do you have a rear sway bar?
If its knocking around most likley its your main trailing arm bushing. Ways to tell is by looking at the bushing for tears/cracks and moving it around to see if its loose. If you have a swaybar try greasing your endlinks and subframe bushings.

Then most likley its your main trailing arm bushing, what year car do you have?
If you still have drum brakes you might want to just get a pair of trailing arms with disc brakes that have good bushings and convert over since you have to take your entire trailing arm out to replace the bushings anyway.
