what suspension is best for 98 accord lx ?
hey guys and girls, im planning to drop my car in a couple months. im planning to drop no more than 1.5 inch because the streets here are priceless.. so if anyone can tell the best and if you can show me what you got? oh and btw the budget is more than $100-500.. thanks guys
It really depends on your goals. You could get a cheap set of coilovers and maybe some aftermarket struts, or you can do the smart thing and buy a full coilover system, where the springs and struts are designed around each other to work in harmony.
I just got K-Sport full coilovers and I absolutely love them. they are really good quality, and give a fantastic ride.
I got them here:

200 bucks will net you a set of Nuespeed Springs and an additional 3ish you could get a set of KYB AGXs.
I have a set of Nuespeeds but I'm sourcing out the best deal for a set of the KYBs on eBay.

yea because that what i want coilover but the prices are high.. but i was looking at eibach or like dcsports92 said nuespeed but im really not sure.
Eibach Pro-kit will drop it 1.5" front and rear, and cost you $190-200. Replace your rear, and possibly front sway bars for great handling (biggest bang for the buck on our accords). To go a step further, grab a set of Tokico HP (blue) struts for ~$250, but stock struts work just fine on these springs.

Struts are your "shocks". You only must replace your struts if you replace the springs with more than a 2" drop. Beyond this point, springs are designed much stiffer, and require a specialized aftermarket strut to properly dampen the spring.
Sway bars are not affected by the springs or struts, but they are perhaps the best "bang for the buck" modification on an Accord.
I have an extra set of Eibach Pro-kit springs in my garage with ~8,000 miles that I need to sell if you're interested. Keep in mind they have a million-mile warranty, unlike other brands.
