EK-4 SI-R
Does it light up amber? Thank for the answers that i couldn't find by searching?
What color does an SI-R gauge cluster light if you don't know about the climate control.

Are you sure both of those are from true EK4 chassis?
The EK4 is the same as the EM1, only it's in hatch and sedan bodies instead. The options are often very similar to the EM1.
You could very well have an EK3 cluster or something else.
Not all EK4s are called SiRs either. Some are called a VTi or some other similar names. To add confusion to that, the name VTi and SiR doesn't mean it's an EK4 either.

I own both of them and I do know they are both SiR's they were bought straight out of Japan, the 1997 I bought was a 4door SiR and unless someone decided to change the stickers and put "DOHC VTEC" on the side of it was original, came with the b16..
The 1999 is a hatch with the b16 it was my cousin's he bought it brand new from Japan and became mine 2years ago. This also said SiR on the back but did not have "DOHC VTEC" on the side.
Both are 5speeds from the factory, and both clearly said EK4 on the identification tag under the hood..They have different climate controls, seat upholstery, gauge clusters and radios from stock. If you wish I can even show pics of both cars although they have both been repainted now..
and I know not all EK4's are SiR's,but most of the ones I have seen have been,I should have made that clear I suppose..
I work in a garage and a rental-car company nearby has a fleet of about 100 96-00 4doors and they all come there for servicing so I have seen alot of Civic's...
I have also have had a real JDM EK9 ctr if you want to discuss that also.....</TD></TR></TABLE>
I don't know why you're acting like I insulted you.
I was just trying to point out that the OP could have bought a part that was labeled as an SiR part, but was not a true EK4 part.
