I am in middle of building my b18c motor for turbo. I would like to get some info on pistons and rods. This link below is form ebay yeah I know not to get ebay crap but its name brand it is je piston and eagle rods combo check out the link and tell me what you thank of it. The pistons come in 8.8, 10.1 compression ratio it does not list 9.1, is 8.8 compression to low would it be alright to use it? what should I expect?

im in the same boat man, eagle rods would be perfect but everyone says that cp pistons will be far better then JE's pistons. Let me know if you have any other answers

 

Thats retarded, JE pistons are some of the best.

 

JE pistons are great.......they are my personal favorite over any other brands....i would not hesitate in buying them again.

 

I have ran eagles and JE in 2 setups and have never had a problem..they were NA pistons,but never the less I like them.I have CP's in my boost setup now and there nice aswell.

A better option than Ebay would be to check The Sponsor's Marketplace . There are always great deals on piston/rod combos
