Default accord type r

hey guys im new to the site and am a dedicated honda owner
i wanted to ask the wisdow of the site if anyone knows ?

i driva a 99 accord type r ( h22a7 ) and was looking to change the intake manifold and trottle body to aftermarket skunk2 products
i found that they do the parts for a h22 prelude and was wondering if they can be used on my own ??
secoundly i have a engine code p1399 and from my searches i have found that honda reckon it is a clogged egr valve port but i have cleaned it out put a new egr on ,ive changed the distributor cap and rotor arm new leads plugs serviced the engine and i still have this code in a pending state . it is not affecting the drive but the damn light keeps coming on .
any help would be cool thanks

looking forward to getting to know you guys !

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Skunk2 stuff is crap compared to your STOCK Euro-R manifold. And people have reported LOSS in power from them.

Believe me, people love the Euro-R's IM keep it and you literally have the best.

As to the code:
Have you cleaned out the EGR Ports?

You cleaned out the EGR ports on the IM? (all 4 of them)

You may need to reset the ECU and clear the code to see if it pops back up

Hmm, dunno what to tell you, my suggestion (easiest probably)

Do a EGR delete, check out Rosko Racing (hit up google) they modify the Euro R manifold for us USA people but all the blockoff plates would work for you.

I believe they make a EGR/IACV one and a few others. All of which they sell separately.

If his car is a true euro R which it sounds like it is. He needs the egr for the obd2.

The egr delete is mostly for the people who want to run obd1 and its easier to trick the computer.

did you reset the ecu after you serviced it.
I think you just pull the battery fuse for 10 seconds, someone else chime in if I'm incorrect
