Default swap info

hey i have a 89 crx hf and i was wondering if a JDM D15B vtec will swap right in since it already has 4 injectors i know i will need to wire up vtec but is that all i need to do

not trying to be rude or negative but what will it run like if i just throw it in there using the old injectors on the new manifold and using the old dizzy

Check out this site. You could do a mini me swap would be the best way to get it to vtec. If you can find a decent d16 head and the other parts needed. The only thing about this swap is you could just about get away with just dropping a d16z6 in for about the cost of attempting the head swap and building the head up. as long as you can do the swap yourself. I have a D15b2 and I was looking into doing a mini me swap but reading up on it, it seemed like alot of work for not a big power increase. Im just going to swap the whole motor. Look around and see what you can find. With a mini me swap you could get around 110-120 hp. Compared to the stock 97 hp or so. If you can build up a head and throw in a Si tranny then you would probably notice a difference but otherwise your going to spend alot of money for a small power increase. let me know what you decide and how it goes
