Is that that same Supra w/ like 500 hp and a T-78 that was at ST's JC event last year? That thing would get a line of cars behind it, then lag half way down the straight before taking off like an F16. I'd find it humorous if the only place that car was seen was the track with the shortest straight in the region

I feel your pain Matt, I sat there and watched people drool over the cars of Drew, Scott and you while simply ignoring mine. Not enough mad grizzaphics I guess, y0.

 

Nope. It was the guy's first time out, and he kept it spooled up pretty well. Had all that aftermarket turbo stuff I don't understand, and a good set of tires.

I drooled over your car but sense I want to run in the ECHC races soon I waited until you weren't around. Nice "wood" strut tower bar. Nice race also, you did really well!

 

If you want video of my car next month, you are going to have to come up to Philly to take it. I can't make it all the way back down to CMP again. It requires too much vacation time. I have a schedule conflict for the Lowes race, so I probably won't be able to do another HC race until VIR.

He does have a window net in that picture. You can see the release as well as the vertical strapping coming down the open window... he's just got a mesh net instead of the more typical "strap weave".

As much as my live in gf may be sick of hearing about cars, she's intrigued by the whole track thing. Her and her friend I was forced into having dinner w/ that Sunday were both asking if they could come next time. <lets mind wander>
...

There just may be something to that "chicks dig race car drivers" thing... or at least more than they dig guys who come home w/ dirty, ruined clothes, smelling of fluids, swearing, broke, and wanting dinner.

I think the guys w/ understanding girls have just figured out this whole wool over eyes/Paul Newman thing.
