I WANT TO PUT A CHEAP MOTOR IN MY 88 CRX SI WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD BE THE BEST WAY TO GO OUT OF THE JDM D15B VTEC OR THE 1.6 DOHC ZC OR THE 1.6 SOHC VTEC ZC AND FOR THAT WOULD D-SERIES PARTS FIT ON THAT AND IF SO DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER IDEA PLEASE HELP ME OUT THANKS

 

I have the sohc zc nonvtec in my car and it is a good little engine, the best part being is it only costs about 400 bucks and it looks identical to the stock si engine

 

zc are d-series.......

 

stay obd-0. converting is not really worth it unless you boosting. go with a d16a6 and just do some headwork and buy a nice header, such as a bisimoto(sorry if i messed up the name its late). with a cam and a nice header an a6 is a stout little engine.

 

well i dont have a motor in it now the d15b vtec and the dohc vtec is about the same price like around 600 and what do you think about the sohc zc vtec
