d16z6 motor, I am installing it into a 98 hatch I am looking for info on a build for it, the motor was free and runs 127000 miles. I want to run a 75 shot on the track looking for someone who has some SOHC experiance. The motor came from a 95 del sol, as did the tranny. I know it isnt a B16,B18 but it has some potential tryin to keep from going to wild.

 

Mista bone is running low 13s on a pretty stock D16z6(not 100% sure ) 92 hatchback with a 75 shot zex. Ill be careful with an engine with such high mileage if i were you , you might need to upgrade some stuff.If you want more info on the D engine you should check out. http://pub34.ezboard.com/bhondadseries.

 

75 shot is pushin the envelope. You WILL need the biggest Walbro Honda fuel pump, FPR, and tuning. Start at 50 shot and work up.
