well there is a 10 sec HF sohc =P but I'm sure you mean a streetable car I say 12 secs is more than respectable for a sohc hatch regardless if it has Nitrous/turbo/all motor

Re: What are some fast times in sohc hatchs (IM ALL BOB)
Wait a minute here. Your sig says you've pulled a 14.9 w/o the NOS on a D16Z6 all motor.
What internal mods do you have? Or by all motor, do you mean stock? The fastest I've personally seen a D16Z6 w/ the basic bolt-ons, i/h/e, pull was a 15.4 on the 1/4 mile.
My best has been a 15.9, and my friend driving my car pulled a 15.8 in the 1/4 mile. The only thing out of my car was the jack and spare tire.

I run consistant 12.90's @110 (on streets) in my SOHC with only 13-15psi of boost..
I am going to the track in a couple of weeks on 25psi and race gas.... Should easily hit 11's with no problems.

i remember boosteded9 running like 11's on his d16...theres a couple of nice single cam numbers in the FI forum...
dang bisi's is crazy...i thought his d15 was crazy, now he's working on another project...guess it gives the f22 owners something to stride for...
