Default 96 Del Sol Carpet needed

Hello everyone,

I just picked up a 96 Del Sol. The interior needed a good cleaning so I removed the seats and got em lookin like new. The carpet is shot, It's down to the backing and worn through in spots. It also looks like some one lost their lunch on it some time ago.

Where is the best place to pick up new carpet for the car? Thought I'd ask here before I buy. The carpet is black if it matters.

Thanks

OK, let me add/update thie post. I just searched and found several related posts and people have used stockinteriors.com. I saw there add using google too.

So maybe the question should be... Has anyone reading this used their product (carpet) and what are your thoughts, experiences.

I guess for $103 you can't expect Berber, but how's the fit and look?

Thanks

my friend ordered interior for a eg from stockinteriors.com, it fit okay, wasnt perfect but for the money they charge u cant expect it to be. we had to cut a tad here and there to get it to fit just right but its cheap and does the job pretty well, idk how others faired with it but my experience wasnt bad, id order from them again if i need carpet in the future.

I'll probably give em a shot, it can't be any worse than what's in there.

i boutgh this and the sol carpet doesnt fit worth a damn, never again will i buy from them. the front and back were wayyy too long aand the sides were about two inches short.. i still havent figured how im going to get this one straight... other than fitment it was a good buy and good quality, looks and feels good. next time ill spend the money and order directly from hondaautomotiveparts.com... discounted oem honda parts. ill post a few pics when i finish messin with it

On my car I have the seats out. At first I thought the carpet was just really worn out. Then I looked up under the dash and behind the seat areas. Places that don't see feet and wear. The carpet as a whole from the factory is cheap, lacks padding and any real substance that would help dead'n road noise.

As for the carpet being too long that's easy just take a section out of it, but the width would be an issue. I looked on ebay this morning and there's a few vendors selling carpet there too.

I'll do more checking and see what I find.

for noise deadining use dynomat... the aftermarket carpets seem to have little backing as mine did, unless you purchase the (Mass Backing) option... which is like a thick rubber pad glued to the back of the carpet... good luck with ur carpet though... mines been a PITA....
