Default low clutch pedal?

ok, i did an ls swap on my 92 hatch, and also made it manual because it used to be auto. now the clutch pedal is kind of lwer than i am use to. put a new slave cylinder and the clutch mastercylinder is new so that was good. we bled the line and it feels more springy but is still low to engage the clutch. i barely let my foot up and it starts to grab mad hard. i'm starting to get use to it butis there any way to make is enguage any higher? another friend of mine told my i have to put spacers to bring the clutch pedal farther out? any one have any ideas? thanks.
