Default Problems starting with 95 EX accord

The other morning, was very cold I had a think sheet of ice all along my hood and it basically coated my vehicle.

It's never had problems starting before, but every time the engine would turn over it would run for about 1 second and immediately die. After several failed attempts, I let it sit for about 15 minutes.

My first attempt after that time was successfully, though it was a pretty rough start. Not sure what could be causing this. Everything with my ignition system is in pretty good shape, but hope someone can shed some insight. Thanks.

make sure your keychain doesnt weigh a ton. Sometimes if your keychain is too heavy it can cause this. either that or your ignition switch is going bad.

Have you done any electrical mods to your car lately?
How old is your battery?

Check to make sure the terminals on the battery are tight and clean. If it's an older battery you could take it out and have one of your buddies drive you to the nearest parts store that can do battery load test. Most places do not charge for this testing. They make there money off telling you that it's no good! After you have the battery checked out that's when you start looking at diagnosing ignition parts.

Haven't made any electrical mods. I should probably give the battery terminals a good cleaning, it's been about a year since I've had it.

Considering you're in SLC, I would definitely start with scrubbing the corrosion off all ground points and terminals.
