Trouble Shoot: NO SPARK, brand new dizzy, fuel pump is priming
i searched, but i haven't found a solution yet. The fuel pump is priming. Bought a brand new dizzy and the engine is cranking, but no spark. Any suggestions?
first check the fuses, check fuse 41 and 42 under the hood. i believe fuse 9. that #9 im not quite sure where it is. in the integras is inside the vehicle...hope i was some help

hey i just recently had this problem the same problem it all started out when i blew my dash light fuse... there was a wire hanging off of some wire, i guess the old guy that owned it had some thing hooked up but any way back to the story and answer, the wire touched blew the fuse, i changed the fuse and when i went to start it it wouldnt start, i changed all types of **** the so called DIZZY, rotor, modules, coil, fuses, wires, relays, every thing that has to do with the spark or electricity period... and nothing, it still wouldnt start, the the only thing i thought of was changing the COMPLETE FUSE BOX under the dash... come to find it worked... only theory i had was since touched it must of gave the fuse box a short circuit... sound stupid and wierd but thats what happened....

though the car did not have spark, did it crank? did it still have electricity?
Also, could the main relay somehow be related? Assist por favor.

yea it cranked, primed, everything worked there just wasnt anything going to the dizzy, i checked it with a current tester through the harness and nothing, so i figured it had to do with the fuse box, or i couldve fried my ecu, but i plugged in an extra one i had laying around and still nothing... then i did the fusebox....im not saying it your probblem but that was mine... i even thought i triggered the kill switch for the alarm because thats what they do is cut the spark from the dizzy
the main relay has nothing to do w/ getting spark. if you already checked for fuel then see why you're not getting spark. using a multimeter can be really handy. in most cases they become your best friend. check the last known source of power. check to see where you are getting power and where you arent. with the key in on pos, not start, this allows 12v to go thru the ign fuse and all the way to the positive side of your coil. be careful tho as you check live wires (safety). even if you bought a new dizzy, open it up and check to see if the rotor and coil are good. i would say to double check the timing but since you dont seem to get any output from the dizzy, closely check all fuses and wires leading up to that. sometimes one bad wire is all that can stop you. when something shorts out sometimes a wire may get fryed or broken. thats why its important you know where you are getting power. analyzing is the most imp troubleshooting step. let us know once you verify it

so does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 92 D15 Sedan? -i've been out of town...back this weekend to work on this.

update: after running the ignition test (http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/cars-tr...-167101-2.html), and K Test, I found out that the issue was the fuel pump relay. Got a new one from Honda today for $57 bucks. Re-timed the car and everything is smooth now.
i was actually not getting any spark -not even a little one. after some research...i learned that if the main relay is faulty, it shuts off the fuel pump and the ecu thus to the ignition -no spark
