Default F20b swap in my 92 hatch?!?!

I was thinking about putting a f20b swap in my 92 hatch. I just sold my mustang GT and getting back to my roots as a ricer..! Is there anything different that I need to know about as far as the swap goes? Which mounts do I use? Are parts hard to find for this motor? Where would be a good place to purchase this swap kit? Do h22 parts interchange? Thank guys

you have to use h22 mounts, im doing the same swap into my ek and i used h22 hasport mounts and had to use a h22 motor mount rear bracket.
if you are looking for a easy cheap swap into a eg def. go the b series they drop right in.
(mounts arnt cheap)

wow, huuge down grade from any Mustang Gt to any Honda. I feel you though i had a supercharged ford probe GT V6 and my buddy had a 94 5.0 mustang and then the mustang sold and my probe got wrecked and now im stuck with a 16 second piece of ****.

What i can say about Hondas is that you can rely on it waay more and they run so much better and will start everytime. just not fast at all even when turbo'd their slow.

any ways. if your coming from a mustang Gt I would recommend you a F20B with a H22 Head or a full H22 or H23 V Tec and it will compare to your gt STOCK maybe a bit faster. but way funner to build and stuff man!

Don't listen to anyone in this thread except for 1996ekF20B. The F20B's cylinder head is pretty much identical to the H22's, so don't swap it. The F20C won't bolt to a F20B transmission, and has only been installed in a Civic a handful of times.

To use the F20B, mount it as an H22, use H22 into EG swap axles, use your EG's wiring harness, but splice to the F20. An OBD1 H22 intake manifold would make things a lot easier, so put that on your list (for 2-wire IACV, and injectors). Control it with either a chipped P28, or P72, depending on whether or not you want to keep the intake manifold's secondaries. Use the F20B's T2T4 manual transmission as it is a great piece, and make sure you get the manual transmission version of the F20B because it has 20HP more than the automatic version.
As for interchangability, basically everything except the shortblock stuff will work. Keep the rods, crank and pistons stock; the F20B already has great compression, and it's built VERY WELL.
The F20B is a highly underrated motor and there is (as evidenced by this thread), a ton of mis-information going around.
