Help with H22A tranny plz, PICS

Hey I am helping out a friend to do an H22 swap in his ek 98. When time came to install my tranny mount it couldnt bolt up because of a bolt that was in the way, if removed it is perfect BUT that bolt is hollow inside with a spring in it and a ball bearing in the bottom, what is that?

You NEED that bolt,spring and bb in order to shift into gears.I had the same mount kit as you,all i did was grind the mount so it could be bolted up with that bolt in the transmission.
