i know checking the resistice in between the 2 black but what about the green and white?? thanx and please dont say is the check engine light on?? lol

 

well checking the heaters is only part of the sensor, you have the exhausts ground which depends on every piece of the exhaust for the griund of the vehicle to travel through the piping and bolts and seals, then that ground is used for the signal of the sensor. if you want to eliminate the sensor, and check if the vehicles side of the wiring is working, and if the ecm can respond to a rich lean command fromt he sensor, try this trick. identify what wire on the sensor is the signal out and what wire the the cars harness is the signal, place a multimeter set to dc millivolts on the sensors signal wire. and take a wire from the harness' signal wire and hold it in your hand. run the car and wait until the meter shows the sensor has some kind of a reading that mvoes somewhat. or just run the car for like 5-8 minutes. now watch the meter, and take the other hand that is NOT holding the wire connected to the body harness. and take that free hand and touch the battery gorund post, wait a moment, look at the meter, it should read i believe a high millivolt reading, above 700 then touch the positive the idle should change its speed and smoothness, and the meter should go the the other direction, i belive low under 150. this shows the wiring from that socket works, the ecm reads it and send out a command to compensate for the rich or lean reading you gave it by using your body as a resistor!
