i have a 1988 honda crx HF...it's turboed, running RC 550cc injectors...i am the second owner, the previous owner did the motor swap and tried to do a wire-tuck ...lol!!! anywho, the Viper alarm system that he had installed went on the fritz, and fried everything, so i pulled all of the old wiring out of the car and got an uncut 1988 honda crx hf wiring harness from ebay...i installed everything(the injectors clipped in),
and we were having probs with the fuel pump coming on...so i put it on a toggle switch...

...then i put the starter on a push button, because it's just plain cool

...but aside from it turning over, the fuel pump coming on, and the distributor is delivering spark...no fire.

but my injectors aren't clicking...i dont have an injector resistor box hooked up b/c the old hacked-up and half assed wire-tucked harness didn't have one...

...why the aren't my injectors working?!?!

...and i alredy checked all my fuses at least 4 times.

 

so you readily admit that the stuff before was expletiveed up, yet you dont do anything about it? I know you said a new harness, but your basing solutions off the old jerry-rigges ****.

instead of working around problems like your fuel pump, it would be better to fix them.

i think u need that resistor box, but im not 100%. Someone will let ya know here.

 

that was my big question...the injector resistor box... i'm not sure about the RC's and if they require them to function properly...and how would i go about deleting the injector resistor system entirely?...i'm prolly going to try that next

 

found my prob....checked ohms on injectors and they were saturated injectors(no resistor box)...simply bypassed the box and...vroom!
