Default middle-o-winter sale help me out.

my Suzuki dealer has a 2006 sv1000 and a 2007 sv650 both brand new 0 miles. my question is what is a good cash money in the middle of winter price for these bikes? i asked who much and he said $7900 for the sv1000 and $6000 for the sv650. i would rather get the 650 but my riding buddy has one the same color which would be kinda ghey.......i am in kansas

Local dealer here had a brand new SV650 on the floor for $5700 over the winter - as soon as that price went on it, it was gone within a week.

For a first bike, I wouldnt buy one brand new though.

naked or faired 650? If it's the sv650s then I'd 6000 otd is a pretty good price. If it's the naked then I'd imagine you could do better. I'm not that familiar with the 1000's but looking at the msrp, the price you got seems reasonable.

my 06 leftover was 4500 on the floor with 1 mile on it. they had an S for 4800, so 6 grand is a bit much..

Please tell which dealership. Is this an otd price? 4800 is ridiculously cheap for an s, and if I could find one for that price I would be buying it tomorow.

no it was not out the door, but still insanely cheap, they were throwing in setup so it was 4800 plus tax/title/tags. I picked up my naked a new jacket(joe rocket), gloves, helmet(KBC VR-2.. side note that is a terrible helmet) out the door for a very small amount above 5 grand... I was bargain shopping
