Default rev drop

I have a 96 Honda civic and I was wondering why my rpm's drop when I shift causing loss of power. It redlines at about 7200 so when I shift it drops to like 4000

maybe there is a light weight flywheel. No loss in power. no loss in tourqe.
my H drops rpm like a sob, but thats the price to pay for faster accel.

what dont you understand?

With a light weight flywheel your R's drop fast, real fast. D series with a light fly would drop to just about 4k between shifts.
And thats not causing any loss in power, may feel like it but its not. No lose in tourqe either, just inertia.
Do i hear an echo?
