I heard it sounds good and deep tone and not loud like other exhaust, I also heard it rattles and makes a strange sound when rev high? rattles against the gas tank, mid section(resonator?) too low, I really want to get this exhaust, but are these problems still exist? or is it just for the WS1 and not the WS2? what should I expect and if those problems happens to me in the near future, what I should do to solve? thank you H-T.

i havnt had a problem with any of that. the only "rattle" i get is if i hold it at 3k while warming it up. it is a slick system i would definately reccomend it.

hey thanks for the reply, i have one more question, i heard people said they take off the heat shield so the rattle noise will stop, do you have any problems regarding the head shield? thx again.

 

take it off.... just added weight and rattles. lol.

 

My friend's Apexi WS2 on his EG hatch sounds beautiful, I'd get it if I had extra money and wasn't turbo'd..

 

is it a requirement for other exhaust systems as well? or is it just for Apexi WS2? if so, all I need to do is take it off inside the piping before install it on the car right? thx

 

do you guy know if the coupe version fit the 4drs too?? i've been looking for a one for my 4drs but can't seem to find one..

or anyone happen to know how it might sound if i just get the muffler and get it welded on my current cat back pipe of 2.5in??

 

if its rattling to an obnoxious extent, you can take off or bend or cut your heat shields...
