Car losing pressure.tapping and loud cranking sound
i did the valve lash adjustment on sunday and ever since then, the car was running quiet and perfect. but today when i was driving home. i feel the power lose.it was like driving on a flat tire kind of feeling. i got it home.and let it set for a while and took it out for test drive again. same situation. valve ticking. and cranking. what could this be.
the car idels fine. no CEL. thanks

Did you tighten the lock-nuts good when you did the valve-lash? Is the timing correct? And lastly did you wait till the engine was cold (8 hrs i think) and use a feeler gauge?
