evap purge solenoid?????
Today i broke the top off the purge solenoid while i was sliding my engine under the car, do i have to have it? The d16z6 is going in my 90 sedan and this is the only hold up left. I need to know if i need to find a new one or if i will be alright.
Yes. Keep the solenoid plugged in (electrically) and pull both hoses going to it and plug them.
Just needed to purge the evap system not for running the car.

No, that is not correct you can unplug it as well, it does NOT throw any code. I took mine out when I installed a catch can and removed the charcoal canister
