Default My friend's (Girl) RSX-S got stolen Last night!! IM FED UP!!!! (20910 MD)

My Friend's RSX-S got stolen from her aparment building last night and as of right now im fed up with these little thieves@!!!!

The Damn girl is a good person and did not deserve for this to happen to her or to any of you all who own this car.

It is red 6 speed,it had a big sticker of betty boo on the back window and its black leather interior. I don't have any pics of the car because she has not giving me any at this moment.

IM FED UP BECAUSE SHE COMES TO ME FOR HELP And I don't know what to tell her other than YOU HAVE A HONDA/ACURA NOW.

I want to take action upon this incident!!!!!!!!
Insurance Plans on paying the remaining balance of the car off and she wants another one...

HOW CAN I HELP HER NOT HAVE THIS issue again?

SHE HAD A FACTORY ALARM and I installed a fuel-cut off KILL switch that was hidden under the DAMN SEAT!!

HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO PULL THIS OFF???
HOW THE F*@K can they steal a 2006 TYPE-S with no tow truck??????

I NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING you might know about HOW THEY CAN STEAL such a NEW CAR?? because im going to do everything I can to bypass everything when her next RSX comes around!

JUST FOR THE RECORD im on here on a FRIENDS account and I don't have the time to READ negative feed back im SURE everyone on here wants to know how the hell they take these cars so they can do everything they can to stop THEIVES.

The only way to know how to stop a theif is to think and have the knowledge that thieves have.

HOW WOULD you take one?

LETS STOP THIS once and for all@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@!!!!!!!

I am not going to allow the thread to be open if people post specific techniques on how-to steal the cars. Anyone who does this will get points deleted.

What I will allow is suggestions to keep it from happening again. But if someone wants it bad enough, they will get it, period.

They only good way is to get a locked garage, period.

sorry if comes up as being a HOW-TO on stealing these honda/acura s but im sure you wouldn't know what to feel if someone close to you gets there car stolen and comes to you for advice on how to stop things like this...

I've been a tech for 15 years and all im asking to know how these new acura's work so I can take the actions necessary to fix the problem.

If honda tech can't answer my question then I will go to another forum who will.

enough said thanks.

I don't see what the problem is in knowing if the car comes with a kill switch...how to re-wire a kill switch. How to bypass a kill switch on OEM cars so then you can re route it somewhere else....things of that nature..

1) No bumping. Give it time and someone will answer

2) I am still not going to allow specific stealing techniques to be posted on here, period.

And how do you know they didn't push the car onto a flatbed somewhere? You positive they started it up and drove it away?

Yes, the car has an immobilizer, but any theif in the Honda scene knows how to get around this.

I still suggest a locked garage, a carboot or a different car if it is a sketchy area.

1. Locked garage
2. better alarm system
extreme actions
1. disconnect bat.
2. park it at a angle so it would be hard to roll it away

It may be a long shot, but check in the area and make sure any surveillance cameras from surrounding buildings didn't get a glimpse of your car.

Thieves will unfortunately prevail if they really want it badly enough.

I thought our cars had immobilizer, how would they get past that without the key?! Don't answer if it violates the rules of this forum.

Thread starter:

- Get a full alarm installed with all the extra sensors, hood pin etc... If you get it done by a shop make sure you pay in cash so they dont know your address.
- Install multiple fuel/ignition kill switches
- Removable steering wheel
- Get armed with some sort of firing weapon
- Garage
- Motion detecting lights/lamps
- Camera w/ mightvision
- Dont go around flaunting your car ( dont show off and dont tell people what you have in it)
- Dont let anyone know where you live
- Look around for suspisious cars following you home

- Relocate your stock Horns! They sit right behind the foglight covers inside the bumper. Pm me and I will tell you why this is good to do for theives since I am not allowed to dicuss it on here.

I hope I dont ever encouter a theif because I dont know how far I will go If I catch some. Hope this helps.

as far as "theft advice" i can only say this from talking with my cousin (MPLS Police) ...they look for apt buildings because of the density of prospective cars and inexperienced owners not knowing how to protect themselves...

?? So she had her interior swapped? Isn't normally something a girl would do.......

No matter what you do someone will figure out a way to steal it. Look at the iPhone, it was labeled as Cingulars phone and could only work for cingular and within a few hours of being released some 17year old kit in Europe cracked it and got it to work for others. There is a way around everything.

Sorry for the lose

I think the best way to not get your car stolen is to make sure your not drawing attention to it (flashy rims, body kits, and specifically Carbon fiber parts). My car is lowered and re-badged to be an integra iS, only exterior modifications. If i lived in an area where i wasn't worried about theft i would invest in carbon fiber hood/hatch, but i live in Orlando Florida where drugs are dealt, kids/girls go missing, people die, and yes cars are stolen. My slipstreams got stolen of my old crx along with my stereo and password CF intake. I don't see why they didn't just steal the whole car after popping the hood (b16 swap). I like the stock look of the DC5 and because they're a dime a dozen here in Orlando, hopefully a car jacker will go for one of the million with after market bling and steal me stickers all over them.
