My friend acquired a GSR head and is planning on doing the LS/VTEC. He wants to know if he could use the rocker arms from the LS head on the GSR head?

I guess he needs to know ASAP.

gsr head has a broken rocker? wierd. I don't think they're the same parts.

 

i guess that when he got the head it was missing the rocker arms. When he went down to the autoparts store he was told that they were the same (same part #)

 

you shouldn't waste your time with crucial parts like that unless they're OEM Honda

ouch. i hope didn't pay too much for that head. rocker arm assembly is the MOST expensive part on the cylinder head assembly...

can't use LS rocker arms, they're totally different.

 

I think he got a pretty good deal on the GSR head, intake manifold, and trottle body.

ITR's will fit no problem...not LS though.

Right now my friend has a DC Sports Header on his LS engine. He wants to know if he will need to replace it if he does the LS/VTEC.

he also wants to know if he can use the LS injectors, distributor, ect...

injectors, yes, but i wouldn't. Distributor, no, it has to be a vtec distributor.
