The EX cluster is plug and play. B16 and B18B's are a direct bolt in swap. If you got lucky and got a Canadian made '92, it came prewired for VTEC from the factory (all harnesses were imported to Canada from Japan for the 92 model year), all you need is a wire for the knock sensor.

Congrats. I just purchased a CX also. I'm in the process of building a LS Vtec. I bought the LS block and just purchased a complete B16 swap. Not in but will be soon

Drag III:
Honda Parts Connection in Alpharetta, GA has full LS swaps for dirt cheap.
Can't recall the number, but look it up for your own lazy *** and call them.
BTW:
Where'd you find that deal? How's the body?

if the canadian made CX's are prewired for vtec, what about the O2 sensor wires?
are there four wires or just one wire?

All 1992 Civics are pre-wired for VTEC on the car, but if you have to use that Civic's engine harness you will need to run the VTEC wires up to the Civic's chassis harness. USDM swaps with the engine harness included need not worry about that though.
Drag III:
For your purposes I would just get the LS swap. Cheaper, more low-end grunt, and here in GA they are available for really cheap for the FULL swap.
A good B16a for that Civic will probably be coming from Honda Motors Online for like $2,350 plus shipping. It will be 170hp and really nice, but the full LS swap can be had for like $1,400 here for a low-mileage OBDII LS swap. Add an OBDI LS ECU and you have a low mileage plug and play swap for under $2,000 easily. The B16a will also be plug and play, but it will cost more for sure.
Call me @ the shop or better yet, stop by with the new ride so I can see and and so we can discuss the options you've got.
Don't get confused. Not all Canadian-made Civics are pre-wired for VTEC - only the 1992 ones.

The thought just occurred to me - why not make the Integra your nice daily-driven car and yank off the turbo and make a sick-fast hatch?
LS swap + your Turbo Kit = quickest hatch in our area perhaps?
The Integra is nice and all, so I'd just keep it for daily driving.
Think about the combo that made your 2500lb. Integra run a 13.9 on street tires in a 2100lb. hatch!

David: congrats...you got the same car I have...grey CX hatch. I did get a EX gauge cluster cause I wanted a tach...its easy to put it..plug n play. I ripped out all that nasty vinyl and put in some EK and EG seats, new carpet, and new wheels. Oh I also swaped that puny 70hp motor out..lol, guess ive done a lot to that poor car...
Good luck with yours.

for the oxygen sensor wires you will have to use a EX/SI/gsr engine harness if you running vtec, if you running a ls dx will work

Re: bought a 92 cx hatch today (DOHCtorTHRUST)
thx for info guys. well the body isnt all taht the front was wrecked. got a new hood today for it. but it barley shuts do to the radiator support being crashed in a little. so i may need to get new supports. the motor smokes a little as well and for some reason its leking coolant. and i already replaced the hoses and radioator. but still leaks. any awnsers. interior sucked too but i alreay striped most of it including carpet. so i know i wont put my ls turbo in due to the fact taht its needs to much bosy work, and my teg is my baby. although one day the cx will hvae a ls turbo im sure. just not this one. so is there any wasy to fix the front ?

Re: bought a 92 cx hatch today (shawnhayes)
I still say that the engine-ECU harness needs the knock sensor wired unless you're running an ECU that doesn't look for the knock sensor.

The P28 does not look for knock. Not sure if it can be chipped too though.....
