I do have it i was just wondering if the size of both together was going to be a problem, since i didnt know if teggs came with tapedeck/cd player, or just a single din cdplayer. I think they come with the dual combo one tho!
anyone know for sure?
looks like i have to take a trip to the wrecking yard to snip out a accord radio plug.

i dont think you would need to get the accord radio plug bc it should be the same as the one in the teg, all honda stereo harnesses in that generation are the same. The bottom cd player works off the power of the top radio deck...

not necessarily true. the CD player from a 99 SI doesn't work in my 99 GSR.
Although the CD/tape combo from my 92 Prelude SI fits and works in my 91 DA.

The stereo will fit but not along with the CD player... your going to have to mount the cd player under wher the xtra space to put CD's is located at... your going to have to go to the junkyard to get the accord harness, then you cut the factory integra harness and replace it with the accord harness... make shure you go thru every wire with a volt meter to find your wires... but remember this is a modifying project... good luck my brother and hope to see some pics when your done
Physically the unit out of the Accord will fit in your Integra although you may have to do some trimming of the radio opening in the dash to get it in there. Also, you will have to come up with a way to secure the Accord unit in there because the way the stock radios mount in the two vehicles is different. In the Accord, the stock radio (and CD player) iso-mount in the dash with brackets on both sides. This is easily seen once the bezel surrounding the radio is removed. In the Integra, the radio is secured into the dash with a bracket attached to the back of the unit. As far as the wiring part of it goes, the harnesses of the two cars are different. For both the Accord and the Integra, Honda changed the style of harness starting in the 1998 model year so your 1997 Integra uses the older style. If you are handy with a multimeter its not so bad to cut out the old harness and splice in the new but there may be an easier way. Metra (as well as several other companies) makes adapter harnesses for all cars to help with installation of aftermarket radios. They also make OEM harnesses for cars where the stock plug has been cut and removed. You can probably at a local audio shop or online find the adapter plugs you will need. The part #'s from Metra are 70-1720 (the stock plug in your Integra will plug into this) and 71-1721 (this is the OEM style plug that will plug into the Accord radio). Splice these two harnesses together (colors will be the same on both since they are used in the aftermarket), plug everything up, and there you have it! I hope this helps.

i wonder why it doesn't fit. for my 99 ls, the si cd player fits perfect.

It does "fit" but the wiring harnesses are different.
In saying this, I do believe I need to make a correction to my first post.
After giving it some more thought, I think the radio harnesses in Integras stayed the same from 1994 to model change in 2001 unless there are some odd cases. Everything else still remains true.

It should fit just fine. My 95 integra has almost that exact same setup, but with the radio/cassette player on the bottom, and the CD unit on top. And yes, the CD unit plugs into the radio/cassete headunit.
I think Acura dropped the cassette player with CD add-on in 96 or so, and just started offereing a single din CD head unit. But the space for a double din setup is still there.

You shouldn't have any problem stuffing it in there physically, call crutchfield and ask them if you can use a wiring harness from a 98 accord in your 97 integra.
