Well I have read alot of debates on it in the Rsx board adn what not but do you think it will outperform the DC2R when it comes to the states. Best of motoring has vid on it but I dont know seems like HONDA's new motors and suspention are not performing up to par. Take for example the new SI what a joke it is slower than the 99-00 SI and the RSX it looks cool on the inside but its power just does not please me. I dont know what do you all think of the DC2R vs DC5R adn old Bseries motors vs the K20's

 

I have access to automobile mags from Germany, Australia, France and England. NOT ONE has stated that they like the DC5R over the DC2R as a driver's car. Poor steering feedback is another complaint - and plays a large role in driving enjoyment. It may, in fact, be the quicker car, but I'm not willing to trade fun for speed... and neither are the driver/journalists in Europe and Australia. Go figure...

 

Remember what MR. SPOON himself said to Tsuchiya on Best Motoring Hot Version Vol. 54 after his DC2R driven by Hattori
out ran Tsuchiya's DC5R, "DC5R = Sporty Car and DC2R = SPORT CAR!"

RSX Type S for the Realtime Team.

One of the Realtime guys told me that they are fairly certain the RSX Type R will never make US shores.

 

I think the idea of a Type-R without double wishbone suspension is like the idea of a Type-R without VTEC.

Worse, actually.

 

I totally agree I dont like the type S's syspention or its power delivery if reminds me of a GM or Ford family car touque but life less it lacks that Vtec punch that I have grone to love

 

I agree the new DC5's aren't too appealing.....but after sinking some money into one I'd be curious to see how they drive. How many people here keep their R's stock?
