Default 2002 Civic Si EP3 for sale - 61,000 miles, Taffeta White, clean mods

2002 Taffeta White Civic Si
61,000 miles
Green Bay, Wisconsin
KBB value: $10,200
Asking: $11,000 negotiable
Interested Trades: 05-07 WRX, Miata, MR2, 300zx, s14 or s15

I have been planning on selling my 02 Civic Si this spring (because it is in storage for the winter) but I thought I’d get this out there now incase anyone wants it now. I will not take it out of storage for anyone who isn’t serious as this car hasn’t touched any snow/salt since I have owned it (and only one winter season according to previous owner).

I have never planned on selling this car but it just isn’t in my budget to own 3 cars as a college student. This is a summer car for me and it is most logical to sell the car causing me to own another (winter) car. It could easily be used in the winter but I’m very **** about keeping my nicest car away from the elements/mint. It is lightly modded but each was very thought out and I’d only buy the most reliable parts for my car. Engine really hasn’t been touched. Oil changes always before 3000 miles with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic.

The car is aligned but I’ll get it aligned again a couple days before it’s sold because I get them free. Oil will be changed. Front tires will be brand new. Car completely cleaned inside, washed, waxed, etc.

Suspension

Engine ground kit

As with any used car, there are some blemishes. Known problems:
-SRS light is on. I haven’t gotten it checked out. There is an EP SRS light problem and it could possibly be fixed free. I’m getting this checked out now. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2204325
-Nickel sized door dent near wiper fluid outlet
-Passenger fender nick
-Front bumper cover inner was cut out and repainted by previous owner. He was going to boost but didn’t. The car was NEVER boosted. Like I said, the engine is stock other than the intake.
-Some interior parts were painted red by previous owner. Tacky but at least he used good paint – Krylon Fusion. I replaced almost all that the driver can see but didn’t finish before winter got here. Can get these cheap from a car parter.

I some have other parts for the car, but I’d like to sell them separately (negotiable with car buyer):
-Innovative motor mounts - $225 shipped
-Ingalls Torque Dampener - $100 shipped
-Progress rear swaybar and tie bar (used 2500 miles) - $120 shipped
with Corsport Adjustable endlinks - $160 shipped
-SPC front Camber bolts - $15 shipped
-Skunk2 extended studs (new) - $75 shipped
-Skunk2 extended lugnuts - $40 shipped
-Custom made hatch 12” sub box painted Taffeta White with dash matching removable trim (cost $1200) - $300 picked up or plus shipping at buyer’s method/expense MANY PICTURES AVAILABLE
-Stock RSX-S cat - $125
-Stock EP cat/downpipe/heat shields with new bolts - $100

Pictures (these weren’t taken to sell the car but they are all I have and I can’t take any now as the car is stored/covered):

I left the cluster trim red because it actually looks really good because it matches the headrest. Paint isn’t faded, sunlight and crappy camera caused that effect. G-timer not included or for sale.

Assuming the car doesn’t sell before spring, I’ll have more pictures.

She's beautiful! I never could get over that funky location/shape for the shifter but I love EP3's.
Good luck with the sale.

Thanks, you get over the shifter location very quickly. Go drive an EP for 20 minutes. I wish it was available on more cars now.

I just wanted to add a bit to explain how I treated this car. It was truely babied. I always let it warm up. No matter what, I've been late to work/class because of it. I've pissed people off that were waiting for a parking spot because of it. I NEVER ate in it, I don't smoke (never let anyone smoke in it), I only drank sodas with a cap - never spilled anything in it. Every part I ever installed was done right, torqued correctly everytime. Everytime the wheels came off they went back on to 90 ft/lbs with antisieze on the studs (when needed).

I don't street race and can't stand people that do. I rarely go over 4k rpms. Maybe hit Vtec (5.5k rpms) once in three days.

I recently installed the extended studs (not fun). That was also done right - pressed in and spot welded as per Skunk2 instructions. I also painted the calipers white during the install - looks a ton better than red. (The whole thing is painted now too; caliper bracket was not before.) - Pictures soon

All in all I think I treated the car better than it deserves - it is a Civic.
