It only happened once, but today i was drive my 96 gsr and when i hit the blinker to change lanes the engine just shut off, no sputtering or anything, just dead. i was shifting when it happened, but i doubt that had any influence on it. The car started right up as i was still moving down the street at the same speed, and i ran some more errands with my car without any problems

could anyone explain this?

 

sounds like a electric short...have you done anything like alarm or car start or stereo anything recently?
