Default Opinions on Class D 1000w amplifiers

Has anyone tried Phoenix golds Rsd equipment? I have some of there mids and they are not bad. Looking for a class D amp to power a set of W7's. I'm looking at Phoenix Golds Rsd1200.1 and Soundstreams PCA1500D. They cost about the same and have similiar specifications.

I am going to put a set of 8W7s in the RR.
But I am more interested in where Phoenix golds products sit in the audio world nowadays. I have had an excellent experience with soundstream in the past. They stand behind their products 110% and do everything humanly possible to make the end user happy. But I haven't bought anything soundstream in a number of years. I also haven't really purchased anything from phoenix gold.

The phoenix gold seems to be there top of the line product. But the Soundstream seams to be one of their lower models. I'm curios how they compare.

I have not installed either one, I did do some "tuning" to a system, a few weeks back, with the Soudstream PCA1500D and a Lil Wonder [2x120W into 2 ohms] driving coupled sets of Eclipse SP6500s in the front, the PCA1500D was driving one JL Audio 13W6v2-D4 in a sealed box, the Soundstream PCA was very effective, super clean, tight and accurate bass response, gain on amp was turned down somewhat not only to match the 800W sub, but also for a better balance with the high-pass, 240W total.
That of course left the sub system with all the dynamic headroom it needed, and a relatively cool running amp. 94

^^^ Thanks for the response

Anyone else? Comment don't have to be tied to these exact model but I would like to keep them to the PCA line by soundstream and Rsd line of phoenix gold.
