Default 98 integra spoiler question

I just got a 98 DC2 with the OEM spoiler and I'm planning on changing it with the OEM type R spoiler, will the holes on the trunk from the old spoiler line up with the type R spoiler??

On mine it did, except you'll have two holes you'll need to plug and they are the inner most ones on either side.

It lines up perfect.

You will have two holes however that are exposed. You will need to plug them. Most (and what I did) got some plugs from Lowes or Home Depot, etc. Or some are ghetto fab and tape over it.

Or you can do it the right way and get it welded, filled, and painted.

But if he does this he wont be able to use the stock spoiler anymore as the one hole is needed by the stock gsr one.

For time and money I think plugging it is better than weld and paint.

but if you have money paint and weld!
