Default gsr block rebuild


what parts would i need to rebuild my block im going to use stock gsr pistons and rods and wat else would i need to rebuild it ?

probably get better advice from the all motor forum but if it just going to be all stock then yea just replace all your gaskets, rod bearings, piston rings etc.

Rings, Main/Con. rod/ crank bearings. before you buy any of it you want to dissasemble your engine. Figure out if you have either oversized bearings/ rings. if you cant do that yourself you need to take it to a machinist. full gasket kit. depending on what shape the motor is in you might want to replace the oil pump while you are in the area (lots of these motors have issues with the stock oil pump at about 80k, i know i did) other than that Patience, A SERVICE MANUAL>>> CANT STRESS THAT ENOUGH<<< and someone who knows what they are doing. If you jump into this without a clue the end result will not be good. Not trying to discourage, but be careful
