Another #$%$ ground problem!?
Ok, so here is the deal.
My GSXR 1100 originally had a ground problem which i fixed ( i think). Said problem caused the headlights, tail (save brake) and turn signals to go out, but the bike would still start.
Now there is no power ANYWHERE to the bike except to the dash. I still get indicator lights on the dash, but nothing else on the bike gets power. And to make things worse it doesnt start. Wont crank, nothing. The bike is naked and ive checked almost all connections except for the ones all wrapped up that are completely under the tank.
Does this still sound like a ground problem or is there something else i'm not seeing?
PS Sorry if there are any problems with spelling, the wind chill makes it roughly 20*.
Thanks!

To me it sounds like a battery issue(unless your battery is new and FULLY charged). your stator may be going bad which would cuase an issue with recharging, hence a battery drain. will she fire with a jump?
I dont think its a battery problem. Its holding a full charge.
She wont even attempt to start, regardless where the power is coming from (jump, charged battery)
Could a starter problem knock out power to the whole bike?

do you have a tip sensor on that lug? or a burnt fuse, check all with a volt meter. Include the alternator fues curcuit. Really there can be many things that would mimic those symptoms... dash dim when starter is depressed>?
The lights dont dim when the starter is depressed. I checked all fuses (with volt meter) and they are good.
I'm a little clueless about a "tip sensor on that lug" Excuse my ignorance.

Many of the newer bikes have a sensor that kills the ignition when the bike is tipped over. saves the engine and keeps a fire from happening. there is also a kick stand sensor that kills the ignition when the kick stand is down, on some bikes anyway.

Right, its a carbed gsxr. 1991. The bike does have a kickstand sensor, but it will kill the bike if it is put into gear while the kickstand is down. Its in neutral.
And im ruling out a tip sensor because the problem kind of randomly happened while the bike was parked.

I don't think the Tip sensor would knock out the whole circuitry of the bike. Check for loose connections...make sure connectors aren't dirty and are properly connected. Check the battery terminals making sure they are tight. Inline fuses and relays...check them all. Make yourself a check list that way you know you checked them.
