hello guys my dc headers are crack or brocken i just wanna ask you guys if i could weld them or do i have to buy a new ones. thanks

 

depends where they are cracked and if you have any experience with a tig welder

 

Go to an exhaust shop near by, take your headers off first. IM sure u know how to do that its the bolts on the head and the bolts with springs on your exhaust. Take it off take it to them and tell em to weld it.

 

unless your like me and dont trust joe blow exhaust shops that are just out for a quick fix and have it crack again in a week

 

alright guys thanks for you advice i'm going and try to weld them if they crack again druing a week i'll buy other ones let me give it a try. thanks

 

I had mines welded and it's been a couple months and the welds are still good.

 

A header will wear out like any other part on your car...if it has been on there for a few years you might need another one. Constant heat cycling will cause this, unless you get top of the line parts, be prepaired for them to fail. I just bough a megan header, and i'm only plannning to get a few years out of it. but for 200$ that's really all i expect.
