Its a thing that goes on your trunk that tells you how far your from the car behind you. Its supposed to help you parallel park in japan. It has some wires coming out of it. One is ground and the other is supposed to connect to your reverse light lights so when you put it in reverse the pole lights up. I think thats is where the wires go. Thats why I need someone to confimr and if its true how do you guide them through?

I thought those were suppose to go on the front of the car so the person in front of you can see where your front bumper is. It's not suppose to help you park but help others so they don't hit your car

I also heard its for the alarm, you can place a LED in or ontop of it and wire it through, so its like an antenna that blinks. The once i have seen though extend out and have built in LEDs so that once u activate your alarm it extends out and blinks on and off. JDM or what?

Ok, so ill try to help here. Im assuming that if that thing is a back up antenna, it would have a module in it as well as a built in speaker to tell you whats up. Now since it does not have a built in speaker it is not a back up antenna. What you have is a simple antenna. Think about this: How would it tell you if you are gettin to close, by sound right, and if by sound where are the wires that connect to your speakers, given that the module is built into the antenna. What i see is a power connecter, mayb a ground is included i dunno all i see is one connector. So at best, that could be used as a alarm system LED holder. What that is that once you alarm your car, a LED (that you put in), would turn on and blink so ppl know its alarmed. Connect that easily by connecting it to your alarms power source. Besides that I have no idea as you only have one power cable included in the pic. Sorry dude.
