Shifter linkage hiting my Apexi WS2 Exhaust piping
Well long story short i got my apexi ws2 exhaust installed this weekend, and the piping now hits the shifter lever. Does anyone else have this problem. Im not sure whether i have a short shifter or not so i want to know if people with stock gsr shifters have this problem??
Dunno about the problem or not but it's easily solved. Heat up the hangers a lil and bend em a lil so that the exhaust doesn't hit anymore. You shouldn't have to move it too far down.

Yes, I did. Here is how I fixed it:
I took the car to a local shop and had them lift the car. I unbolted the exhaust bolts and twisted everything around to where nothing touched, then I bolted everything back down tight.
If that doesn't work you're going to have to bend some piping, or bend some hangers. Be careful not to break off the hangers.
A short shifter has a longer section below the pivot point than a stock shifter, and is more likely to hit the exhaust.

I have the exact same problem, only happens when I go over a bad bump. I haven't fixed it yet but I assume it's just a matter of bending some of the hangars to make the mid pipes sit lower
