B16 obd1 knock sensor question
so i have an obd1 b16 out of an integra xsi that im swaping into my 90 crx si. now the harness that im using on the engine is the crx si harness. im also converting it to obd1 via phearable.net ecu and a kenji convertion harness. i got some instructions on how to wire up everything from rywire.com. its telling me that need to run the 1 white wire to my knock sensor. now where im confused is on my si harness there is a plug that comes off the harness by where the alternator plug is at and this plug fits perfectly in the knock sensor plug on the block but it has 2 wires coming out of it. im really confused as to how to wire up the knock sensor if it only uses one wire. i really need help its the only thing i have left to do on my swap.
I know with the conversion harness there is a wire on the conversion harness that should be for the Knock Sensor. It won't be in the stock harness. I got a Xenocron Obd0-Obd1 conversion harness, and it had 1 or 2 wires incase your swap has a knock sensor. What you will have to do is hit up a honda junkyard see if you can cut the plug off that you know fits on there, wire it up and plug it in.
we were wiring my vtec yesterday and the same question came to us! we only used one wire and the vtec worked fine but the check engine light reads there's a prob with the knock sensor, u jus have to find a knock sensor with the single plug!
