Im almost done with the swap into eg i think. Im using the GSR engine harness. The main thing i need to know is what color wire the gsr knock sensor is so i can cut the into the engine harness and hook it up to the p72. Also, i was wondering what these 2 wires are for!!! Hopfully they are for the knock sensor. if there is anything else i should be aware of, please tell me.

The knock sensor is a single wire plug iirc.. That plug in your picture, need more infor on it, what other plugs on the harness are located near it?

Do you know what color for knock sensor wire? where it is at on the engine harness? Since im using the gsr engine harness, it should be in there somewhere. I dont want to cut the wire right by the knock sensor. And that other plug, it comes out with the 3 plugs that plug into the ecu harness by the passanger shock tower.

that plug is an 02 sensor plug

arn't the gsr o2 sensor wiring on the bottom of the car? OH WAIT. are you saying i have to connect those two wires to the ecu?
UPDATE: got the car started, but idles like crap and i didnt want to try to rev it. dont want to leave it on for too long in case i got something wrong. didnt plug that two wire in anywhere, its hanging. any ideas?

to end this tread, i'd like to say i found the stock o2 wire by the shock tower and hooked it up right.
looks cleaner than a wire directly from the knock sensor. also found the butterfly wires but decided to not hook it up.
that plug is still not connected to anything and my car funs fine.

got a quick question bro so wats that wire sensor hanging near the shock tower, i have the same set up b18c1 with original harness cel throwing code 41 and 23

That extra wire seems to be kinda like an extra o2 sensor if i remember. Dont worry about it, it means nothing. Yes, i dono why honda made it but trust me, it dosn't hook up to anythng in a eg chassis.

With your codes, get a new o2 sensor. A faulty o2 senser can throw those codes also. i think i had the same problem with a swap and some honda-tech dude recomened a new o2 sensor, got one then CEL no more.

I bought a NTK off ebay and it worked fine. cheap also.
