Default 19mm ST sway bar tearout?

I have an EJ6 and about to install a 19mm Suspension Techniques sway bar. I have searched about tear out and what not but nothing I came upon answers my question.

Do I have to worry about subframe tear out with that size of a rear sway bar?

BTW, this is my daily driver, and will see the track on occasion. I also searched that the stiffness of your shocks/springs makes a difference as well, I have koni yellows with nuespeed race springs set almost on full stiff. Just asking this because I'm going back and forth on deciding to buy a subframe brace or not.

don't know if this should be here or the suspension forum.

i havnt heard of too many swaybars tearing out the subframe. If it was my car i would get the ASR subframe brace with the sway bar and call it a day.

I wouldn't risk it. I bought the asr brace and paired it up with a ITR 22mm bar. Maybe with a 19mm you have less of a chance to tear it out.

thanks. found what i needed to know with that link polything.

but if there is anyone who has ran or is running a 19mm swaybar without a subframe brace, let me know how it went or how it is now. i'll be receiving my swaybar tomorrow from summitracing and probably going to install it just to see how it feels for a bit before i go ahead and order a subframe brace.

i ran a 19mm on my eg hatch(EH2 to be exact) for 3 years with no subframe reinforcement and i never had an issue. i did about 20 autox's and 2 track days with the bar on.
