del sol parts for crx
my del sol got totaled and i got a crx shell, so i was wonderin what parts can i swap out. i got a b16a obd1 so know i need mounts and either a cable tranny or cable to hydro conversion. i was wondering if i can use the del sol shift linkage? and can i use the coilovers? its a 89 si crx so also i was thinkin about swaping out the rear disk brakes from the del sol? is it possible thaaaaanks

The motor will work. You will need a new shift linkage. Convert the car to obd1.
The rear trailing arms should fit no problem. Use da integra rear brake cables. I don't think the rear lca will work from the delsol. I would get some jdm crx or 88 si rear lca's. Then the suspension will go on.

you sure about that?
EG suspension is not the same as ITR suspension.
the coilovers will bolt on to the factory LCAs.

You don't need to touch the forks what so ever, the coilovers will fit no problem. 88-00 Civic springs/coilovers are all the same when it comes to how the fit up. The spring rate may be a little stiffer on the Del sol compared to the CRX but even if so it will just make for a better suspension.
*The motor will fit (new mounts and shift linkage needed)
*The trailing arms will fit (use the CRX lcas and ucas)
*The coilovers will fit front and rear but only the REAR struts will fit, the fronts are not the same size and DO NOT run the del sol forks unless you want to f*^k up your suspension geometry on the rex.
*I hear the seats fit w/o too much modification (swapping the seat rails may be all you need to do)
except for a few more little things here and there nothing else will really swap over
