Default Car wont accelerate Past 3,000 ???

Ok heres the run down... i have a small-medium leak of oil from the crank seal... its gettng splashed around from the timing belt and w/e i have that problem so my friend took off my belt and tried to see where its leaking from and he put back the belt and now when the car is warmed up i cant accelerate till 3000 rpm. i put 30 weight oil in it and oil stop leak and no luck
it seriously boggs down and i have to hold the clutch in and accelerate and let it go at 3k rpm.

im wondering if i need to put more oil in it bc i havent checked it or a sensor or w.e please help me figure out whats wrong.

heres a pic for refrences

Check your vacuum lines. Then check your purge solenoid on the firewall. They look like little black canister. Check the top for cracks.

if you had the timing belt off and its leaking from the crank, why didnt you replace the crank seal?

When he removed the t belt it stopped leaking. Didn't he say it leaked before by the crank. He must be confused where the crank is? lol

Come on, ask your parents for some money. This seal is crucial....That may be it. I think I know why its acting up. There is no oil pressure and your oil pump is working OT to build up the necessary pressure at specific RPM. Get the seal!!!

and i believe that someone didn't put the timing belt in the correct position
limp mode is identified with a rev-limiter at 3000 and a constant CEL. and as far as I can see he has not mentioned any of these.

A well done MPFI swap cannot be told apart from a real D16a6 so i think the question was more than adequate.
