Default First time changing oil problem

ok today my father and I decided to change the oil for the first time in my new civic. so everything goes nice and stuff we get the new filter in and everything run for 10 minutes then let it sit for 10 minutes then check the oil level and everything is ok. So right before I go to work today i start her up and it is taking longer to start. Why is this? My belts are really squeaky and it was changed at 92,139 miles also water pump antifreeze. Anyone know why my belts are squeaky? After I drive for awhile the squeaky goes away.

Thx
Silas

did any oil spill ? dunno why it would take longer to start up ... but squeakiness might be caused but some oil spillage perhaps on the belts... just taking a stab in the dark ... check belts for wear though ... don't wany any of those bad boys breaking

Don't lend bad information. It may not cost him much if the accesory belt goes but what about a timing belt?

Were you low on fuel? Low fuel will cuase less fuel pressure...thus harder starts.

Side Note..Hey John.
