Upgrade your engine mounts, get ESMMs, or a torque damper or a combination.

You have to drop the sub frame to get to them. Many have done them in their driveway. Others, like me, take them to a reputable shop with decent rates.

If you don't fix the problem with one or more of the above, you will break the header. then you will have to buy another. You need to fix it soon.

esmm isn't the only option
you can replace the entire mounts and/or get a torque damper

esmm are the cheapest yet still very effective
i'm sure they are the most popular too

It would definitely give them an excuse to deny the warranty claim. Dealerships love that.

You dont have to drop the sub frame to install them. With the stock header, all you have to do is unbolt the 2nd part of the exhaust manifold and you can slide the rear mount in and out. If you already have the dcrh on then you might have to remove it if you dont want to drop the subframe.

BLAH! ..all good suggestions.

i have DCRH same **** happend to me. i asked the same questions got answers that werent correct.

is your o2 simulator a J shaped or a I shaped? meaning the bent one or the one that pops straight out?

i had the one that pops straight out and everytime i reversed it hit the top. it led to..my o2 wires getting cut from banging too much. replace the o2 simulator with a j shaped one .i think they go for like 15-20 bucks.

the metal to metal banging noise is one of the cylinders on the header hitting a metal hanger looking thing on the car, wrap that hanger type thing with a sock or something... also, u need esmm or motor mounts
