i got a 92 civic si . sohc d16z6 is my car a EG5 OR EG6. ?

i know this is a pretty dumb question but im a little confused rite now .


will eg6 foglights fit on a eg5 ??

 

what does your vin say? read your vin and it'll tell you if its an eg5 or eg6. and i'm pretty sure the fogs will fit.

 

car is getting a paint job so i cant tell you that rite now .

All of them on there start at 93', probably has to do with the august of previous year when it was made or something. But i would say its correct for yours, my 92' dx hatch is a eh2 on vin. as well as this list.

yea i dont think there was an actual 92 si... it was considered a 92 by the date it was built but called a 93 by honda. just how i gatherd info.

and yes all EG's use the same fogs unless its a 4 door.
